22 Hornet Barrel

Hey guys I am looking for a Thompson Contender 22 Hornet 21" barrel if anyone can help. Trying to fix something up for my Grand Daughter.

I would go to T/C. Why not a 221 Fireball? The fireball is much easier to load for. Contender barrels are hard to come by. Good Luck

Checked Gun Broker nothing there / Have tons of Hornet loading stuff and like the cal. I will just keep looking. Thanks Guys

Or Match Grade Machine. You could check with Mike Bellm also. I would do an improved version to reduce frame thrust. JMHO

I just got a K-Hornet Bullberry used, by posting on www.Bellmstc.com under the free listing page.

I love it.

But, it is easier to work with a 221, easier to get brass and you can go faster or slower than a Hornet, without the pain in the butt headspace issues that come with a hornet and a TC.

That is why I got a K...and no 221 popped up.

Bullberry makes a great barrel. My k is shooting 1/2 to 3/4 at 100, and it is about 5 degrees out there!

That's not an easy one to find and when they do come up for sale usually go for a premium. Honestly from what I see some people pay for hard to find factory barrels these days it isn't that much different than just springing for an MGM custom barrel.
