.22 br load

Need advice on load for .22 BR. Will be shooting 50-55 grain bullets. Any powder or load suggestions? Haven't shot this yet-Nesika action with Hart 1-14 twist bbl. Thanks for your suggestions.

Benchmark, imr 8208 are the powders I used. I choose the 53gr v-max b/c of the higher BC.

IMR 4895 & 8208 have worked best for me in a 1:12 twist 22 BR

AA2015 has never failed me yet in a slow twist .22 BR. Fast twist my favorite is 8208. Good luck.

Give Sierra a call at 1-800-223-8799. They can provide well documented load data even if you are using someone else's bullets.

Mine's a slow twist (1-14) and It does very well with Benchmark, H-335, BLC-2 -- I've gotta admit that I generally stick to easy metering powders like these because I hate individual weighing. I've never shot anything heavier than 55's, and generally stick to the lighter stuff. Favorite is 40 gr V-Max. I don't think that I've shot a single group over 1 moa with this rifle, but I also haven't shot any under .3". I'm generally in the .4's and .5's. I don't think it's the rifles fault. jd
