Got me an RCBS CaseMaster. Read bullet runouts on a batch of .204 reloads in Win cases topped by 32 Sierra BKs. Got four groups - .001, .003, .005, .010??. Went out to my club today and slogged through snow up to my petunia to the 100 metre,110 yards) boards and pinned targets. No way I was going to snowshoe to 300 metres. Win primers and H335 launched the BKs at a chronod 4010 out of a Rem SPS Varmint. Cleaned bore every 10 shots. Average 3 shot group sizes were: .001 - 7/16; .003 - 9/16; .005 - 9/16; .010 - 1/2. Not what I expected! Tempts one to ask "So what`s the big deal about bullet runout?". Shooting at 300 metres might have given different results. Just got a Sinclair neck turning kit and will experiment further with bullet runout.
