What’s the registration numbers looking like right now for the big weekend? I’m planning to arrive Thursday morning and was curious how busy the range might be. With CRC not running 1000yd this year, I’m thinking I may need to budget extra time for putting some holes in paper and getting ready.

Evan, what time are thinking you’ll be pulling into the range ?
maybe 10:30-11am Thursday or so. I'll make it to Butte or Deer Lodge Wednesday night depending on how it goes, and I'll probably stop by the grocery store in Missoula before heading up to the range.

When you get to Deep Creek on Thursday or Friday, please check in to make sure you are registered. Do this before shooting.

Sight in on Thursday and Friday starts at day light. There are no reservations for a bench. When you get here take your turn on an available bench. We will have someone on the firing line. Please clear your bench when you are done shooting.

Ceasefire will be in effect when the light in the middle of the firing line is red. This light being red does not mean you can drive down range. Always check in with the firing line to make sure the ceasefire is for people going to the targets if you need to go to the targets. There may be someone coming back from working targets and they may have a short ceasefire for that. There are also people camping at the 500 yard parking area, so don’t assume that it’s OK to go to the targets if you see movement on the road. We may also use cones on the road to control traffic going to the pits, do not go around them.

Please don’t leave your equipment of a bench after you are done shooting.

If you are camping down range, please let the firing line know so they don’t worry about it when they see you come and go.

Thanks for your help,
David Torgerson

Just keeps getting Better, nice solid rainstorm last night at Deep Creek… late week weather still trending to be on the cooler than normal side as well… we will take that if she’s willing to give it…

Travel safe guys , let’s have some fun forming some groups and laughing all the while
