2023 Anderson Creek Sportsmen's Club PA 300-Yard Tack Driver Lite

The 2023 Anderson Creek Tack Driver Lite Match is scheduled. The match will be held Saturday, July 29th, 2023. There has been a change in yardage and targets for the 2023 match. For the 2023 match we will shoot a total of 6 targets at 300 yards. The targets will alternate as they did last year and will be Group, Score, Group, Score, Group, Score. Targets will be the 200-yard IBS hunter score target and the 200-yard IBS group target.

I have attached the registration forms, rules, release form, and a general cover letter. Registrations will be held to the first 50.

There will also be 5 spots available for travel trailers as we have had interest from people who would like to travel to this match.

Please don't think the change of the format moving to 300 yards will make this match any easier. Anderson Creek is notorious for throwing competitors a curve ball during the match.

Hope to see everyone at the match

One way to settle all those types of discussions would be to hang
a score and the group target next to each other and shoot them
in the same relay.

Is the 2023 PA Tack Driver getting more interest from more shooters than the previous? Just curious as the first one was a great match to attend.

I sure would like to see a 6" forearm be legal in this match. Not sure why they scare so many people?
Jeremiah Keefe set this match up to be a light version and mimic the TD's
rifle rules. It is my understanding that other then a 22 lb weight limit, all
other designs are open. I do not see a restriction on width as per Mr. Clines
Original TD set up and rules. I did notice the 4.1" width for the Anderson
Creek's version. Jeremiah should chime in about this.

Stock width of 4.1 was a rule adopted to adhere to the rules we shoot under at Anderson Creek.

There was talk about maybe changing the rifle class criteria for the regular season matches. I will verify this weekend. If there is any changes or there is an agreement, I will amend the rules of this match to allow wider stocks.

At the end of the day, I want this to be a fun match that the competitors enjoy and promotes the sport!

My understanding is light gun to 17, 17 to 25 heavy gun. 4.1 max stock width.
For the Tack driver match , all discipline's and their rifles compete heads
up. Only restriction for weight is not being over 22 lbs and a caliber
restriction.

Jeff....Did Anderson Creek finally formalize rifle rules for their various
monthly match's ?? I'll have to check the Blog Spot if anything made
it in print for the 2023 season.

Would it be possible to post here the club match schedule? I wouldn't mind making the trip to kind of get the "lay of the land" before the T.D.L. match.......Thanks

Rick
