2022 Nationals - Day 8 pictures added - LR Finals

I have been to the AF Museum several times and I have a lot of pictures of it. My favorites are the XB-70 Valkyrie, AV-1, and the B-36 Peacemaker with the XF-85 Goblin. There are many other planes there; not to be missed.

I also visited the SAC museum in Omaha a few years back, coming back from Lodi. There is an SR-71 suspended in the lobby; very impressive.

Great pictures, Denys. And congratulations on an excellent day at the line! Good shooting!

Thank you so much. I also appreciate the fact you took notice of my performance today.

The conditions were challenging, and I had a lot of fun. I have been shooting with great competitors this week and they have inspired and supported me. I was squadded with Mike Catena, Luke Ramsey, and Henry Rockhill; all super guys and very attentive and supportive. I am looking forward to the LR portion whatever it holds.

I must say that we have a communal spirit in this sport, where everyone is supportive of others and are happy to share their knowledge without reservation. It's rather unique and I treasure this.

Added pictures of first day of Long Range. When I started taking pictures this morning, I realised I had left the SD card in the reader attached to my laptopback at the hotel. I pulled out my stupendous Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and took some pictures, but it's not the same. I did want to record all the winners.

The SD card is safely back in the Nikon, ready for tomorrow and especially, Teams on Saturday.

The FCNC 2022 is now in the history books. I added 90 pictures from today.

Thank you for the nice comments from everyone, either here or in person at Ben Avery. I really apppreciate them.

It was a great week; a fun week and I am bushed. See you all next year?

This was posted at March.

Also, I want to mention that Carl Matthews put on an incredible performance on the first day of LR when he won the day in F-TR with a 597-25, even besting the F-Open winner for day 1, Tim Vaught's 596-29X.

Carl is a truly gifted shooter, from Bayou Rifles, of course. As is Tim and so many others from Bayou. (But not me. )
