2021 IBS - 600 Yard Nationals

Guys, I have an unaltered flat top, solid fill, beautiful, blue marble McMillian Super-50 stock I bought on a whim a while back. It is listed in the classifieds. If someone wants it, I will bring it to the Nationals-only, no shipping. I got deal on it back then and will pass the deal on. Let me know tonight- leaving in the am early. Samuel Hall
Those are cool stocks. I have one here that was about $1400 and took 13 months to get. Someone should build a HG on that thing.

Hi,
My apology! Just to let you know that I forgot to send my donation a Mini-X for this match due to my workload in the last few weeks, many thanks to Mr. Mike Hanes who reminded me a few days ago and willing to help to make a certificate to hand out at the match. So I will send the Mini-X directly to the person who gets it.
Thanks again Mr. Hanes!
Best,
seb

Hats off to Piedmont gun club.

Tommy & company put on a great match.
The target crew, was incredible.

Thanks goes to Jim Cline for calling the line in such a professional way.
We were certainly time efficant.

Congrats to all that won & partisapated.

I didn't win and i still came away with a great weekend spent shooting with good people.

Stan was not alone in wondering if the match could be completed in two days. I think that was a reasonable concern however the target crew was exceptional as were were those calling the line, the referees and those scoring the targets.

I made sure to give my personal thanks to the target crew for their hard work. They told me they put up and pulled 896 targets each day. That’s nothing short of amazing especially when you consider they did this in an eight hour span each day!

My thanks to all those involved in making this match a resounding success and congratulations not only to the winners but to all that came to compete in this sport we all love.

Dave.

Wow Thays all that I can say !!! The largest 600 Nationals ever had is over and its was a flawless match .My hats off to Tommy and everyone that helped make this one of if not they best run Nationals I have ever attended. I wont list names because I dont want to miss anyone . For sure there was dought could it be pulled off in two days and if it couldn't not much of a issue of staying another day if needed . But you should never count out IBS shooters when it comes to putting on a show because they always make it happen.
Now to the winners Dave Way , Fred Calai, Darell Dacus, Ronnie Milford, Bart Sauter Jason Walker, Shelley Gudger and Alex Kaugsr . Congratulations you are the best of the best and after this weekend you can say you earned the right to say I beat the best there was in 2021. To everyone that made the trip Thank You for those that didn't man you missed it . Last But not least Jason Walker you had a heavy hear traveling out here because of the loss of one of the greatest particapants this sport has ever had. If you ever meet Gene he was the best of the best and loved this game as much as anyone could Love it.Jason You did what you set out to do and you did it for our friend Gene Ford .Im sure he was smiling down on you telling God I told you that boy right there can shoot. I
I pray for eveyone to have a safe trip home and go ahead and start makeing plans for next years 600 yard Nationls In Memphis no doubt in my mind it will be a free at one for sure . First and foremost, hats off to Jason “iceman” walker. He proves time and time again he’s a force to reckon with! And what a guy, just a great humble man. In the tradition of this sport it was a fight to the end! Some fabulous shooting went on this weekend. There’s no words I can use to express our gratitude for Tommy Williams, he is absolutely the back bone to piedmont gun club. When we set out on the journey to the nationals several of us that are familiar with the nationals sat down with Tommy and explained what needed to happen to try to make this thing run as smoothly as it could. Well, he listened and noted every request we made and never questioned anything. He just made it happen. Yes we had doubts like every single person. But with the best target crew you could find, the best range boss you could find “Jim Cline” the best match director you could ask for, and hands down the best competitors in the world the 2021 600yd nationals went off without a hitch! Thank you to all that traveled and had faith in us to make this the best weekend you could have ask for. A special thank you to all the sponsors for the unbelievable prize table. Also thank you Mike Hanes, and Seth Wooten for the endless hours getting this prize table together! Personal thank you to Alex Wheeler who donated a LRB stock that I won! Thank you! We made some new friends and got to see some we don’t get to see very often. This will go down as one of the greatest matches of my life!! Thanks again to all that made this happen.
