I heard they actually may be moving targets if the wind is up...switching to mrad scope and to a 2mil lead on the outside edge of the frame..

The range topography does some weird things to the wind depending on direction...even in somewhat mild conditions. As Jade pointed out the winds in March in north La. can be pretty intense if a front is about to pass/just passed. I think it will make it more fun!

What is nice is that not very many people have shot this range, particularly often. It is a difficult range and most of the top of the line shooters will be equal starting out. The winner in each category will be the one that figures out the range first. It will be fun to watch for sure!

The first time I shot there I was like 5 down 3 shots in and then the target frames snapped off and the match called! Next time I had a 190 in one match and was happier with that than any 200 I’ve had.

I remember that match Doug... I believe that was March 2019.. I had 8 mins wind on the gun and about 5 shots on for record when the wind blew the frames down...

Yea, like when PJ lit it up in the first match then complained that his bullets were swimming upwind in the third.

I really hope the wind shows and makes it fun. If you can win with the shooters committing to this match you can win anywhere.

I'm in for the whole program. Shot a long range match at LRA for the first time last month and enjoyed it. Looking forward to this event. Registration one the way.
