Talked to Don Rabun this morning, he’s got the blue dollar now. Trying to get him here for the state match to help us state residents fight off the Arkansas gang.

Immike sent me a text asking if the Arkansas guys/gals would enjoy coming up there and kicking some Missouri butt during the state match (he may not have worded it exactly like that).....for nothing more than bragging rights and maybe a signed dollar per person. Mike we accept your challenge.

Here what we're bringing..
Fopen- 5 for sure with one maybe.

Ftr-3 for sure

1 Jr Fopen shooter.....our secret weapon, he is ten years old.;)

1 woman Fopen shooter....Mike if y'all can't find a female shooter she said she wasn't afraid of you. :D

1 guy that hasn't decided if he's gonna shoot Fopen or Ftr.

Are a couple KY FTR boy's allowed to join the fun... or is this an exclusive feud between the MO boys and Arkies!:D

Worked on my damaged pop up today thinking about this match in April... this is a pretty serious match for the competitors on a range with record potential. Should be a nice campfire shoot with extremely stiff drinks and competition!

Missouri never fails to provide. I snagged these Spoonbill yesterday. With the crappie and catfish already on hand, we are set for the Regional.

For those interested if I've received your entry, please give me until next week. I'll send out everyone an email. We have plenty of room for both matches. Get your entry sent soon though, as I expect both will fill up.

I love it. A shooting match with spoonbill and froglegs.

Spoonbill trophies are gonna be tough to cough up.

I hate to tell you this Ryan, but those are clearly ceolacanths; a protected species dating back to the time of the dinosaurs that somehow survived into modern times without being identified until a few years back. Those specimens would probably be worth millions, as the few ceolacanth specimens identified have usually come from off the coast of Madagascar, not the middle of Missouri. Too bad you have most likely gutted, filleted, chopped, and diced them by now to feed the crowd at Bucksnort; you might have been rich.

I didn't know Shiraz was a fisherman too! multi-talented.

You bringing the ceolacanth caviar or did you consume that on the river bank?

If I could figure out where to get some plankton hooks and how to tie some plankton flies, I would try to catch one of those on a fly rod.

I fully expect to hear someone say, “This tastes like a million bucks” at dinner.....

It's illegal to even land a paddle fish in Wi. You are forced to cut your line. Can't even pull them in the boat for a picture.

With fish like that we may not need frogs. Very nice snag Ryan. But it wouldn't be a frog shoot with out some. I would like to have a ruff head count on frog eaters. mike I'll bring some more fire wood for your fire pit.

Ryan and other cooks.. post up what you need brought to help out.

Im down for potatoes or something else. Just let me know.

Tables are always needed
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)
Sides are nice for variety! <<<
Plates and utensils and paper towels
Ketchup and tarter sauce
