I can tell this might be a cool evening match again like last year so fill in around your stuff with firewood! I’m gonna cook my hush puppies over the campfire this year. I kinda hate making those damn things but they are pretty good with fish! Lol
BTW.. my ammo is ready, new 22br barrel and brass. I haven’t shot past 100 yet but this is the match for it! Anyhow that’s my bump for a good match lol

You guys traveling here motivates us to be good hosts. This “way” we break bread is a more a personal touch of hospitality rather than just food. There’s nothing better than eating right off the fryer then so be it! I have a gut feeling that a national record will be threatened or set at this range again and soon.

FROG SHORTAGE!!!! Please please check you local stores for frog legs. Immike has only found a 5lb box of legs and they are not cheep.

I have been striking out. Found out that frog legs are stuck in customs from local meat supplier. And all local restaurants and grocery stores are having same problems.

I plan on digging threw my freezer and bringing all that boys and I have gotten last year. But still that was not very many.

Good news is; i do have two steel x count frogs trophies. No shortage there.

Travis, I just bought last 2 boxes (10lbs) available for the regional match so that’s covered. The state match may require a couple professional frog catchers Travis if you know of any. Lol.
This may be the best time to stock up on them if they can be found at a meat locker. They were aware of supply problems and raised the price to $40 each box so I spent $84.38 getting these.

Here’s the situation so far:

I’m afraid we are going to have to pre-buy for the state match since the season starts at the same time... I’ve found enough for the regional but we have nothing for the state match so far unless we feed price scalpers that already want $85 per 5# box. Those boys will have to work on next years fry since the season starts around June 30th
