Thank you to all the shooters that came despite the terrible, but fairly accurate weather forecast. We had 62 shooters from 10 states join us, despite a pretty awful weather forecast.

Due mainly in part to the unbeatable skills of Cristafer Strannigan, we got in all 6 matches around the rain.

I say this every time, but the shooting community is made up of the best people on the planet. Every match confirms this. It is just a big family reunion.

The level of competition is raised every year. The scores in switchy, windy conditions are right up there with what was an unbelievable score in dead calm conditions a few years ago.

Joe Meyer F-Open 1st Place/Resident State Champion
Dave Glick F-Open 2nd Place
Lance Davis F-Open 3rd Place

Jenniffer Bondurant F-T/R 1st Place
Jason Peel F-T/R 2nd Place
Ryan Cokerham F-T/R 3rd Place/Resident State Champion

Abigail Victoria High Junior
Scott Young High Sling
Robert Mead High Grand Senior
Rod Brakhage High Senior
Tracy Harrold High Woman
Jim Barnes Resident Senior High F-T/R
Donnie Greer Resident Senior High F-Open
Shane Greer Resident High Junior

Congrats to the winners and thanks to all the shooters who joined us. If I don't see you at the Sierra Cup this weekend, I hope to catch up with you on the line later this summer.

My first time and it now will become a regular trip. I had a major malfunction on a string and 2 guys got me back up and running to finish my target with seconds to spare. I can’t say thank you enough and goes to show the caliber of people that are at these events. It is amazing.
Thank you Ryan and crew for all hard work to put this event on and congrats to all the winners.
See ya next year

Ryan and team, awesome match as usual.. The quality of this match is unsurpassed by very very few...I appreciate what yall have done the last five years. From the prize table, to the food, to the competition, the work yall put in to make it happen is to be commended. Thank you! As long as we are able, Tracy and I will always make the state match.

Many thanks to the wonderful sponsors that donated to this match...and there were a lot!!!!

Congrats to Joe and Jennifer!!...We appreciate the whipping!

Couldn't have been squaded with two better guys...Jeremey Newell and Mike Godman.

Congratulations to all the winners! Well done Jenn, amazing shooting. Joe, 80X's and dropped 4 points? Crazy stuff.
This match draws one tough crowd. I don't think the scores fired in this match truly reflect the conditions they were fired in, but more so reflect the quality of shooters that posted them. Saturday was some pretty tuff sledding and Sunday held some very tricky winds. Bucksnort is no piece of cake!

Even though, I had some German Chocolate Cake ,which was really good btw, after some tasty fish and fries and a beer watching it pour as we ate. What a great match!

Thank you Ryan, Michelle and the phenomenal Bucksnort crew for putting on an outstandingly ran match. Every year the competition gets stouter and stouter. People travel from all over to be here because of the hard work and the hours put in to make this one of the best mid range matches of the year. We always have a great time and enjoy seeing old friends and making new ones. Big shout out to Joe and Jennifer who really showed out and put up some awesome scores. I feel fortunate to have been squad with 2 excellent FTR shooters Jason Peel and George Snyder. Shout out to Jason Peel who came back Sunday to shoot 2 cleans, with one being a 200-14, and taking 2nd behind Jennifer. Thanks to my hubby for putting so much time and PATIENCE (lol) in to helping me continue to learn and to improve. Looking forward to shooting will all of you again. P.S. Thank you @jamesl (GOTCHA :p:p:p:p!!!!!!!!)

Great match fun and well ran...Tracy..Jen and I tried everything we could to trip Jason up..she stood over y’all and watched his score card and when that didn’t work she gave me the green light to go ahead and cross fire on his target...:D:D..and that didn’t work either so we gave up.

Would like to commend my old friend Dave Glick... He is a bench shooter that went to the ground possibly for the first time. He really gave the field a run for the money with 1195-71x and a close 2nd place in Open. Congratulations Dave on your outstanding performance!
