2017 SIERRA CUP, 600 yrd Fclass, St Louis, May 6th

Well, the boss says we're coming! Now if I can just get her to load some ammo for me! :D Joe, we'll call you in the morning and get officially registered. If anyone on here has suggestions on a motel, please let us know!

Thanks!

Steve, I will put you both in. I think that I am out of tshirts though.
I included a link to the range website that lists hotels.

Steve, myself and a number of match shooters usually stay at the Super 8 in Warrenton. Clean and well maintained. It's about 10 minutes from the range.

The Quality Inn in Foristell is suitable, but there are many more dining options in Warrenton, and you won't get a ticket for going 3mph over.

Yea dont speed on Hiway 70 near Foristell seems like their only income... Warrenton has several hotels ... Super 8 is at hwy AA on north service road east of Warrenton about half mile.. AA will take you north to range ...AA north winds thru country to it ends at a T about 3 miles, gravel on left turn right on blacktop about quarter mile to first left is Country Farm rd go left....about 3 miles to a sign for range...there is a sharp turn to right at this sign .. go about half mile to left on Kohn Rd at sign to range...cant miss...if anyone needs help with directions hit me back here...I live very close to range...Neil G

Is it possible to go north on State Highway 47 to Hickory Lick Rd and then go across from there? Seems like it ought to end up at the same spot as the Highway AA route and I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express, which is already north of I-70 on Highway 47.

It is possible but you will go on some nasty gravel roads that even I cant name... your Hotel is one half block north of service road..go east on service road and left on AA it will be a hell of a lot easier for you...plus some of the creeks and rivers around here are flooded and high causing roads to be washed out and closed...I am sending you THE best way...Neil

Registration is now closed.
Now I can work on the squadding, and meals, and shirts.
Safe travels to all, see you at the range.

Perfect - thanks for the heads-up! Not a big deal to go the AA route, just saw the alternative from the map, which really can't give a very good idea of the type and condition of the roads. I appreciate the advice!

Joe's gonna need a vacation after this one. Cook in the hospital, tshirt guy crashed the program, rain threat thursday match, and so on. Everybody give him a hug at the match. Lol Glad to see a full house this time (70+) at what is a super match Sierra bullets has made possible for us! Weather forecast looks outstanding so far! David Lingle running our line is a great experience for even a seasoned shooter, "he is the best". Look forward to seeing everyone soon! Drive safe please.

Super 8 in Warrenton it is! See you guys there, or we might get in early to shoot a few Friday afternoon....look for a couple of old dinosaurs with shooting coats and slings!:p

Any weather updates? I know you guys are getting hit pretty hard with rain. Is I-44 the only major road closed? Thanks in advance

They plan to close 55 tonight. Not sure how for long yet.
Hopefully no long.
Not sure about the middle of the state.
Will pass along any updates.

The sun will shine Friday and things will look better. Just avoid the meramec river until the water recedes.
