I posted this a couple years ago. It all sounds like an eating competition, with some shooting on the side!Sounds like a eating match instead of a shooting match!........
If I can make it up I may bring some viddles.........![]()
Greg mentions headcheese, it actually probably not as bad as hotdogs. Remember that "Every part of the pig is pork!"I've always thought the food was just another good way for the competitors to spend some quality time hanging out together. However, at St. Louis a couple weekends ago, Mike specifically pointed out that a new law in Illinois allows people to legally claim "roadkill". Further, there were folks on the previous page of this thread offering to cook up some river rat if Jade decides to make the drive. That's right...roadkill and river rat. I don't recall ever seeing either of those "offerings" in the meat department at the local Kroger, although neither one is probably any worse than headcheese. As you can imagine, I'm becoming more concerned about the origin and pedigree of any cooked critter I didn't catch or kill myself LOL. Having said that, any shooters coming to the MO State match that shot in Texas recently missed a great opportunity if you didn't grab up a couple sacks of armadillos to fry up for MO while you were there.

Friends, Food, and F-class
It's been said before in many ways about the Bucksnort matches,
but in benchrest terms
when the Grand Aggregate of all three is in the 1s
It doesn't get much better regardless of what part is most important to you.
Agreed. Shooting at Bucksnort isn't less, it's MO.
Can't be any worse than rooster fries LOL.

I ain't afraid of no ghost!! He can't shoot, he just always gets easy relays on the 1.5moa less wind side. Here he comes guys! I'm glad I'm in open! Lol
Was talking to Jade about how low the 200-16x FTR record was. Hopefully with the high level of competition and good conditions that will get destroyed at this match!
Now we just need some good open shooters to show up.
Yawn. We've seen all those guys.I can think of a few:
Lamey (US rifle team, cluster duct)
Snook (bad azz)
Meyer(Sierra cup, cluster duck)
Shepard (bad azz) 21x last year!
Norman (bad azz that might win it) new brass. And a cluster duck! Lol
Fowler (natl Champ)
Bowling ( deadly)
The Greer tribe (sheer numbers)
Wake (Sierra cup twice)
Plus several sleeper cells out there! Should be a tense match!
