I am not too sure about all this Frog leg eating stuff!! Your may have to coax this city boy out of his comfort zone!!!

They don't require an acquired taste, you will probably be alright. We appreciate you traveling so far to come to this, very special guest. I'm sure the fish, fries , and hush puppy's will keep you alive as a last resort.

The only thing we have to watch out for is Dan trying to resuscitate the frogs. :)

Hilarious.

Good luck everyone, unfortunately I had to drop out of this match. Ryan and the rest of you all have done a great job getting this going. I will be interested to see the results on Sunday evening. This is one of my favorite matches of the year and it is killing me that I cannot be there so you open guys have one less shooter to worry about...and Mike had to find a substitute hushpuppy chef...lol. It is not only the shooting I am going to miss but also the camaraderie.. Have fun!

I thought someone told me Pete Petros died last year and this account is now run by Mike to keep the legend alive! We were going to release two dozen white doves in Petes honor before shooting Saturday, to remember the life of a great f-open shooter! glad to see you are alive Pete!

Let me tell ya boys and girls, there's some hot shooting going on in Missouri this weekend! Yall are missing a heck of a match and some good food!

Congrats to Immike and Nando-AS for pulling out the wins today.

Mike dropped a mere 2 points over 8 strings.

Most importantly thanks to Ryan for putting on another great State Match, and the guys at Bucksnort for hosting the match. Without these guys the match wouldnt have happened, or wouldnt have been nearly as good.

I attached a pdf of the scores.

I would like to thank all of the shooters that attended, Bucksnort for holding the match, the hardcore sling shooters that ran the pits, Christopher Stranigan for running the line, the suppliers that donated prizes, and my wonderful wife. This went off without a hitch and it's now in the books.

Congrats to the Grand Aggregate winners: Mike Jakubczak in F-Open and Alex Muller in F-T/R.

Also, congrats to the all of the guys that put up cleans this weekend: Mike Jakubczak, Kevin Shepherd, Joe Meyer, Dan Bramley, James Laney, Norman Harrold, Tommy Todd, Travis Greer, Richard McClain, Franklin VanWhy, Frank Ivey, and Russell Meyers. The firing line was absolutely electric. Seeing guys pumped up to shoot the highest scores of their lives made this weekend all worth it.

We took a picture before the match on a very unusual cool Missouri August morning.

Man, what a match! It ran like clockwork. Thanks to Ryan and Michelle for spearheading the event. Thanks to Bucksnort for hosting us. Those guys ran the line and the pits, and they know how to do it. Thanks to all the companies that donated prizes. The Friday and Saturday night cookouts were unbelievable. I wish I had taken a picture of the food spread, but I was too busy defending my hush puppy position.

The range is protected on both sides by trees. I heard or read of it being referred to as the tunnel. We had some calm conditions for sure, but there were also several relays that had some sneaky stuff going on down range. There was a lot of great shooting and it was closely contested right to the very end.

Congrats to Mike and Alex. Great shooting guys.

Congratulations Mike for a GREAT win!! Only dropping 2 points the whole match! WOW! That is awesome shooting!! Congrats to all the winners and to those who came pretty dang close!
