2015 MO F-Class Mid Range State Championship Aug 29-30

Here is an image of some load testing I did a couple of months ago. It will give you an idea of what a protected range looks like. It is called the tunnel by some folks.

Ryan,

The map (above) I posted with the location of the range shows the route (red) following 'U', per the directions I had. Is there any reason not to go on 220 instead, which is a shorter route?

Thx!

Nando

220 is slightly shorter but it has a chunk that is fairly steep and rocky. It's certainly passable in a Prius, but probably not preferred.

U is paved to the end and the last bit of gravel to drive is smooth and flat.

At the decision point you are down to 5 minutes left so any time savings is very small.

Oddly enough, when the Blackwater River is up, the paved Rt U gets submerged and the unpaved 220 will be passable.

Make sure you bring bug spray. There's bugs in them thar hills!

Scott, Watch dem F classers, once they get some frog legs and hooch in em,.....I"m just saying, lol

I just loaded a 65 qt. Yeti completely full of fish. I also have a couple bags of potatoes that I'm going to use with a chip and curly fry maker. I hope you gentlemen are hungry.

There is still room for additional shooters. If you know of anyone that is planning to come, please have them email me. RJCCBC AT MAC DOT COM

The prize table for the match just keeps getting better.

John Perkins of 21st Century shooting has just donated a $375 gift certificate for a shopping spree of his fine products! Folks, this is as good as it gets. John makes the best reloading tools on the market and his generosity to the shooting sports is unbelievable.

Please note: the online maps show the road into the range (off Hwy 65) as Rt U. The sign on the Hwy marks it as UU. Slight issue that could cause an issue for the very attentive.

In any case, turn on UU and you will get here.

Good luck everyone, unfortunately I had to drop out of this match. Ryan and the rest of you all have done a great job getting this going. I will be interested to see the results on Sunday evening. This is one of my favorite matches of the year and it is killing me that I cannot be there so you open guys have one less shooter to worry about...and Mike had to find a substitute hushpuppy chef...lol. It is not only the shooting I am going to miss but also the camaraderie.. Have fun!

We definitly will miss you Pete, I just filled a new 30 quart cooler near full of frozen frogs and put the whole thing in the deep freeze. It will thaw out to about 20 or so. If you can't find this range then you can't hear or smell. Lol

I am not too sure about all this Frog leg eating stuff!! Your may have to coax this city boy out of his comfort zone!!!

They don't require an acquired taste, you will probably be alright. We appreciate you traveling so far to come to this, very special guest. I'm sure the fish, fries , and hush puppy's will keep you alive as a last resort.

The only thing we have to watch out for is Dan trying to resuscitate the frogs. :)
