I have been considering signing up for a few F Class competitions; never done it before. Never even been to a match. I was wondering if it would be OK to stop by the match on Saturday the 29th just to observe. Do you all allow spectators?

Sure do, we will even let you practice pulling Mike's target. 😇

Great!! I look forward to it!

You will like pit duty, you just stand on a ladder and put your finger on the last shot! Lol

Do I get to wear safety glasses?? :)

Safety first !! You definitly want to bring a set of muffs even to watch. Oh yeah and a spotting scope too! Fclass is one of the few paper matches you can view from the firing line.

There is still room in the match. I am accepting entries up until the morning of the match.

If you are planning to come and haven't mailed your entry, please send me an email instead with all of the information requested on the entry form. I will get your payment at the match. RJCCBC [AT] MAC [DOT] COM

This includes those who have indicated they are coming on here, but haven't mailed entry. This will help us with squadding.

Thanks,

Ryan

My ammo is loaded up! I ran and got Dos XX some more frogs so we don't starve out. Travis Greer is going to help us fry this year so maybe we won't be waiting for more! Anybody that wants to bring out plates ,ketchup and sides is more than welcome to help us out. Should be a fun weekend of hard core shooting , can't wait to shoot my first X .

Got 1/2 my ammo loaded today, 88 rounds of the best seven slingers you have ever seen.

I am bringing 3 loaded rounds that will be upside down in my ammo box, brass that won't shoot a 10 to save your life. They will also be marked with sharpies to describe their afflictions, different colors for different afflictions.

It either shoulder bumps too far every time you touch it, or has lousy neck tension or something else. It is probably $3 worth of brass, but I have surely used $5 worth of Sharpies marking it for the last year to make sure I don't shoot it for record. I'm pretty sure I might actually have it rehabilitated this time. If you see me stand up on the firing line and dance a little jig, you will know one of them landed in the 10 ring.

Of course, that won't be during record fire, so you will be wondering why that guy is so excited about fouling his barrel.

Nebraska is in the books, Mo ammo is loaded. Clean the rifle, find some something to bring for a side and I'm ready. Here's to hoping for a quick work week.

Dang Jeremy, I haven't even loaded my ammo yet for the match tomorrow morning. Fresher the better right?

Ha! I loaded all last weekend for Ne and Mo since my wife was on a float trip. Im not usually this prepared. I might be bored this week. ;D

Just found out today that the club will referee the match. Strict NRA procedure on this one guys! This match will run like clockwork ! I bet we finish about 3- 5pm each day. We just shot a 3 relay 60 shot today at St.Louis and was finished by 12:30

Too stuffed to jump.

Not sure why these reminded me of a rifle match, but they did, so I picked them up. Probably Mike's fault.

Surely we can find something to use them for? Drill holes in them and make ammo holders? Hold dollars down?

BTW, bring them pop ups . , if we don't have enough to cover the entire line then we can't use them. That's right.

I have a 10 X 12 footer I'll try to stuff into the rental car!

Busy putting stuff in the shooting wagon already, Joe is getting some condiments and Travis is getting all the frog fryer stuff together. They kinda got me moving on this and is getting close here. I see a serious slug it out match coming, get ready to rumble guys! I am.

Anyone want to comment on likely conditions on the range for this weekend? Trying to decide between big gun or little gun.

Thx

Best info Ive seen so far says 5-10mph Sat, chance of rain. Light and variable winds on Sunday.

I hear the range is "protected" coming from the desert I don't even know what a protected range even looks like!!!

To "see" the range and what "protected" looks like, go to page 2 of this thread, and half way down that page Nando has posted some pictures and there is one good one that is taken from behind the firing line.
