2015 MO F-Class Mid Range State Championship Aug 29-30

Well, I just spent the last 2 days turning and sizing some more 22br brass for this marathon. I feel like I'm going to the Nationals! For the $60 entry and with medals for each match for both the classes plus the aggregate trophies for the top 3 places and all the other " extras" I feel like I'm getting a good deal. The 160 shots for score is quite a test of your shooting skills and survival skills also so bring what you need to get through it such as Gatorade and trail snacks. 2 x 80 shot days can be a challenge but not so bad if you prepare for it. Whoever wins this one is a shooting machine!!

I'm certain all the shooting will work up some serious appetites, so I've picked up a cooker that will be more suited to the task.

I'll have this running while Mike is cooking frog legs like nobody's business.

Other great news: Several sponsors have donated prizes to the match. I will update the original post as they are added.

Now that is a fryer. Strong work.

This is going to be a classic match, I have a feeling.

Oh hell, I may not even bother bringing a rifle!! This is looking like a must go to event despite the shooting!

The Aug 1st registered is about ran out shooters. I think I better fry me some frogs for lunch tomorrow and call it training, lol I am really looking forward to shooting a range that none of us shot yet. That's special and as fair as it gets!

I have extended registration up until the day of the event, or until the match reaches capacity.

The prize table is shaping up very nicely with the following companies supporting the match:

MidwayUSA
Sierra Bullets
SEB
Kreiger Barrels
Lapua Bullets
Hodgdon Powder
Swampworks Bullets

Are you planning on having a blow off period or making first string unlimited sighter to foul barrels?

Dan,
There will be a practice day on Friday and a short blow off period before the 1st relay each day.

Thanks,

Ryan

Good call Ryan, this is gonna to be fun and grueling all in one! Lol I will cook up something Friday for you guys , don't have a clue what it is yet. Kinda depends on what runs across the road on the way there. Ha

Mike,
I'm planning to cook fish and fries Friday and Saturday night. Let me know what you are thinking about Friday and we'll make sure everyone sleeps on a full stomach.

Mike,
Please don't pick up any road kill on 370 to make for dinner!

Hey, hey. Not so fast. Let's find out what it is first. ;D

I promise Joe , I'm just planning ahead since this is a rural area and I have to survive out there for nearly 3 days. I haven't had time to fish this year so that has always been my crowd feeder, I've already done it twice this year on only 2 trips fishing and I'm out of fish! I just like to plan ahead I guess. Ryan has a new boat and I heard they are biting great on the rivers so I think I will just hang with him ! Lol

They have several BBQ pits on their range so I may have to figure out my breakfast and lunch out there. Heck I've already been making ice for this trip!!

No kidding Russel, what if I hit a covey of quail or a steer Joe? lol. I am going to grill some deer roast early Friday so I have some food handy during this match. I'm kinda looking at this as a weekend away match! I can't wait to shoot this range!

I received a few more entries yesterday and a certificate for a free Shilen barrel for the raffle drawing!
