2015 MO F-Class Mid Range State Championship Aug 29-30

Well there is that. Also theres the chance I could get beat by people I built guns for. We cant have that now. I would have to recrown yours guys barrels with a rock ;)

Anybody that can beat Ryan Pierce deserves to win! We would be glad to have you Ryan , we would even let you go home with the 1st place trophy !! That's if Pete Petros let's you of course. Lol

Heck Mike that may be the first match I shoot this year at this rate! In all seriousness, I am glad that Ryan found a great venue for this event, and I look forward to it! Now to find time to actually shoot, having a new baby at home really takes away range time...lol. I have already been teaching him the basics, such as wind reading etc.

The wife and I will be down for the weekend to shoot. I will be nice to see Pete again on the line. Kids take up a lot of time. Ours are at least a little older now, so its not has hard. I am sure we will see you soon.

Bucksnort has electric only hookups for campers, 7 or 8 maybe, on a first come, first served basis. We also have free lodging available in the bunkhouse on property. I think there are 20 or so bunks and it does have A/C. Shower/bath house with two showers for the blues and one for the pinks. Room for tent camping as well.

Now none of this is state of the art but it's serviceable and a good time. There is convenience store with normal convenience store stuff about 15 minutes away to the south and Marshall, MO is about the same distance to the north with a couple of hotels, the obligatory Wal Mart, and several restaurants.

The range is nice, the target carriers function well and wont wear you out by the end of 4 matches. Lots of trees and probably some high scores to be had.

Don't let August in Missouri scare you, get your entry in and come shoot!

This is going to be a interesting first even for the residents actually... Fclass has never been shot on this range to my knowledge. I'm also looking at a protected range in the photos and see something I look for in any traveling trip...(opportunity to win! ) Since this is a "Registered" match ... We all will have (8 ) chances at breaking national records on a protected range! I've traveled for less chances!! Ryan also gives out medals to each of the class winners each match!! There's going to be a lot of shooting "Loot" going out that gate!! The winning Plaques leave with the winning scores also at this match!! Ryan will have nice stuff for your efforts!!
 
Sounds like a well planned match. I can't wait! My home range is in New Holland, Pa and is also pretty shieled and is a real pleasure to shoot. We get some pretty high scores there.

So far, it is looking like a very F-T/R dominated group. It makes me wish I was shooting instead of running the match. This is going to be a great one and I hope to see many of you there.

I will be at the Midwest Championship in St. Louis on July 2nd. If you would like to turn in your entries to me when I'm there, instead of mailing, have them ready. The entry deadline of August 1st will be here before you know it. Send in your entry now for a guaranteed spot.
