Here are a few of my accuracy loads for my A/R that I use early in the season where action is hot and heavy on ground squirrels. Since these are somewhat "mellow" by most standards - you could start close to there and work up if you wanted to. These all do 3/8" m.o.a. or less in my gun. All L/C cases, Remington 7 1/2 primers. I threw in some Lt-32 loads as five of six 20 Practical barrels I have done load development for all preferred LT-32 over everything with few exceptions. The H-4198 worked pretty well in most of the guns so you will probably like it. If your gun doesn't - try the LT-32 if on hand. Kind of a magic powder for those things.

32 V-Max, 22.2 H-4198 = 3,881 f.p.s.
32 V-Max, 23.6 grns. Accurate LT-32 = 3,825 f.p.s.(all 26" Hart 1-11" tw. bbls. - all fired in temps between 50 and 60 degrees.)
40 V-Max, 22.3 LT-32
32 V-Max, 24.5 H-322,= 3,840 f.p.s.
39 sierra Blitz King, 22.7 LT-32

Well I played with some non magnum primers tonight and think I found what I was looking for. One evening this week I will shoot this load again over a chrono and see what the numbers are. Thanks hog patrol for the recommendation on trying another primer
