The factory 204 in 10-11 twist rifles drive the perception that they only need 40gr pills it seems. Thankfully Berger has made the 55 and Blackhole the 50, 52 and 60. Blackhole’s webpage says the business is for sale so they may go away too.

Best 22 cal pdog bullet hands down. Just got home from Colorado and the 62 eldvt outperformed all of the others.

Just curious what problems you had with the ELD-VT bullets? My Tikka really shoots them well. But, in my one experience, they really like to be into the rifling at least .010. Just curious is all. Shoot straight.

I’m a huge fan of the 80 grain 6mm ELD-VT. I use it in my Dasher. I’d love to see a 20 cal option.

They would not shoot in my rifles jammed, jumped, or just at touch in the rifling.

50 and 53 vmax and 70 gr Bergers hammer in my 22 Dasher 8 twist!

62 ELD-VTs were very disappointing on target!
I want waste no more money on Hornady Elds or ELD- VTs!

Also a friend has had nothing but trouble with Groundhogs getting back in the hole.

They aint all the same. One will blow up and the next will just punch a hole in and out!

I much prefer a Nolser Ballistic tip or Sierra Blitzking for my Groundhogs here!

Was thinking I need a 22 Dasher with an 8 twist for varmints. I do love the 53 Vmax and thought that new 62 would be even better,but glad to hear the feed back. Also glad to know the 53 holds together in the 8.

I shoot them out 1 of my VT improved in a 1-8” twist… they will hammer !!! Look weird, and work well !!!
