Watching Gregs/primal rights video on the 20 bra sure makes me want to build one! Glad to see Graf&Sons have the 55 grain berger LRV in stock. Anyone else have an experience with this cartridge?

I finally had time to get my new HV kreiger barrel screwed on, Tim Claunch did the chamber. I tried some varget powder for the first time in it.

What freebore with 55 gr. Berger. Asked JGS and they said all they had on file was a generic print with .015 freebore . Not sure if thats a good print. Will be using Lapua 6BR brass.

The bearing surface on 55 Bergers is not super long. I wouldn’t get real aggressive with a long freebore. The BR case has plenty of neck length.

The possibility of a touch more speed. With the 40 degree shoulder you get less case growth. Some believe more efficiency, and a load that stays in tune better.

I do find my cases grow pretty fast just after 2 times in my 20 br.
