2 new Score world records set...

Yesterday at the the GMSA Georgia Mountain Shooters Assn. Richard Sissle shot not one but 2 new score world records.
He had a Incredible 250 with 21 X at 200 yards which beats the existing record substantially.
And then to make a great day even better he shot a 250 with 23 Xs at 100 yards for a 44 x agg for the 100 and 200 combined.
Incredible shooting to say the least.
Congratulations to a very humble and great guy.

Great shooting, but several 250-25X have been shot in registered matches. Is this for a particular Association?

Yes 25 Xs at 100 yards but 21 Xs at 200 yards is a new record as well as a agg of 44 Xs in the 100 and 200 combined is a new record.
The previous record at 200 was 18 Xs and the previous agg was 40 Xs

This was an IBS match, really quite happy for Richard. It was the “Sissel Show” all day long!!!

No they have not been verified Butch but was my the best of my knowledge from those scoring it was not going to be any question of whether it stands or not.

That is some Great shooting concardulations to Richard for a great accomplishment we all know how hard x's are to come by at 200 yds. and to top it off with at 23 x at 100 500 44 x's will probably be the stage for records not to be broken ! I had a 200 16 x at 200 and it was 2 x from tieing the IBS record of 18 x in 2011 @ Webster City , IA then held by Mr. Euber of 18 x in 2007 ! The next year Joe Krupa shot a 200 19 x I'm not sure if it was IBS or NBRSA first year for VFS as a trail ,but I don't think that year any records counted ! I'm not positive on this but I'm sure on 200 19 x by Joe !

I had a 200 16 x at 200 and it was 1 x from tieing the IBS record of 17 x in 2011 @ Webster City , IA. The next year Joe Krupa shot a 200 19 x I'm not sure if it was IBS or NBRSA first year for VFS as a trail ,but I don't think that year any records counted ! I'm not positive on this but I'm sure on 200 19 x by Joe !

Must’ve been NBRSA , the standing IBS record is 250-18 and has been since 2007.

You are Right Willie and I was partially right ! Joe did shoot a 200 19 x at 200 on Dec 11 2011 at western Wayne and it was (NBRSA)not IBS and they had not given NBRSA VFS any record status yet. Joe didn't even submit the the targets ! Shot it with 6 PPC , As Randy R. says that won't work !

With his LV gun he was, that was on relay #2. First time I’ve ever seen the same person finish 1st setting records and last in the same match.....

They are potential new world records, not new world records until the score committee takes a look at the targets to determine how many x's that they say goes or not.

Dusty I have wondered that myself ! I have looked Hi & low for anything on the web for a fake Rolex Stock, I found a lot of time pieces LOL !

I'll take a stab at it from what I remember and if I'm wrong Todd (WillyTP) can explain it. I'm not going to mention who it was, but someone I know down south brought a high dollar Roy Hunter stock to a gunsmith in GA that had a stock duplicator and copied it. Now Roy gets anywhere between 1250 and 1600 bucks for a stock and the gunsmith/ stock maker in Georgia gets about $550.00, but that's unfinished. Roy's stocks have carbon fiber layered in between the 3 pieces like a Leonard stock and the ones from GA don't. So Roy's stocks are considered Rolex's and the ones from GA, (Dixie Stocks) are called a fake Rolex. I know Roy wasn't too happy when he found out, but I'm pretty sure that's the way the story goes. By the way those FBBW bullets that Richard shot, WillyTP makes them. So hat's off to Todd's bullets.
