New World Records for IBS 600 yard 2 GUN and LG AGG

Christmas came early this year in the form of a couple of IBS 600 yard World records.

In August at the St Louis Rifle range I managed to break the LG Score agg that Chad Jenkins shot in 07/13/2013. Chad’s former record was a 199 with and 1.9381. My score tied Chad’s with a 199 however the tie breaker, which is the aggregate, measured 1.5188. I predict someone next year will break this record with a 200.

Also,at the same match, I shot a new 2 Gun Record ( 8 targets, 5 shots each)with an aggregate of 1.6409. The former Record was held by Fred Thurman with an aggregate of 1.6449 shot in 2015.

I’m particularly proud of the 2 Gun Record because of the conditions it was shot in. Conditions were difficult between the switchy winds and high temperatures. In comparison the closest 2 Gun Agg to my 1.6 was a 2.2! To me that makes this record all that more special!
