I'd like to have my barrel on my 308 FTR rifle throated out for heavier bullets at the end of this season. Currently it has a .050 freebore and I am shooting 155.5 gr berger Fullbore bullets, with good success. I've learned a lot about reading wind by shooting 155gr bullets for the past two seasons, and I think it's time to graduate to a bullet that cuts through it a bit better considering is shoot at Rattlesnake Mt. In Tri Cities WA which has some of the most brutal winds in the country (40 mph is not uncommon). I think I'd like to go to a 185gr bullet and I'm interested in using the 185gr berger hybrid. Can anyone comment on how forgiving these bullets are to seating depth? Any know great load combos for this bullet. I'm really trying to weigh the benefit of the 185 hybrid vs the 185gr juggernaut, so any comments on either bullet are appreciated. Thanks.
