140 Berger 7MM VLD 7-08 Savage tube

Has any one worked with a 140 Berger 7MM VLD in a 7-08 Savage factory tube??

I was planing to use Varget but could change

Work up to 43.0-43.5 with Varget, or try IMR 4350 around 45.7-46.0 grs. Both of these work great but i like Varget better.

Any prefrance on 7-08 brass-- I have been using Wincester --not very happy

I'm using norma brass , this stuff id great . I'm using RL17 powder with Berger 140 hunting bullets velocity is around 3080 with a 24" bbl . Jim

I found that the chamber in the savage is big and ww and rem a too small and you end up with a bulge so the next was Norma works good but the best was Lapua.I use 308 Lapua and neck it down and use the 140 Berger hunting bullet and 45+ gr. of 4350 and a wolf mag primer and it shoots in a small hole in my Savage sporter..........jim
