Quickloads... Help me pick a cartridge

Looking for some help from someone with Quickloads. Im trying to decide between two cartridges for my next rifle: The 6.5x47 Lapua and the 7mm-08. This will be a all around gun used for Practical rifle matches and varmint/ big game hunting. Proposed rifle setup is:
Savage 10 action with DBM, 28" varmint profile barrel, Mcmillan A5 stock, Sightron 6-24 or 8-32.
Essentially the one that I can get the best ballistics from is the one I will use. To figure the ballistics I need approximate velocities. Could someone run me the quickloads for the following combinations for me, so that I can get approximate velocities for both cartridge setups? Thanks a lot!
6.5x47L
Lapua brass
CCI Br-4 primer
Varget
130 Berger Vld and 140 Berger VLD

7mm-08
Winchester brass
CCI BR-2
Varget
162gr Amax and 168 Berger Vld
2.800 OAL

Mao, as far as competitions go, it is very doubtful you would ever notice the differences betwixt the two. They are both "reasonable" for competition at 1000 yards.. The only difference you will notice is if you hunt game larger than deer. If you are not going to hunt anything larger than deer or say Caribou, flip a coin! Heads YOU WIN, Tails, YOU WIN!!

Interesting you posted o this Shootsdots, I was just read some old post of yours (from back in 2008) regarding the 7mm-08. Do you shoot any 163-168gr bullets in any of yours? what kind of velocity do you get?

Mao, I don't have any of my 7-08's anymore. I turned them into FULL BLOWN F-Open rifles, except one>>>I turned that into a fast twist 22-250. I had A LOT of problems trying to tune that to my liking. I was unable to and I sold the entire shooting match which provided me with the wherewithal to buy a NightForce scope.. BUT I did a load for it with 168Sierra M'kings.. It was with IMR 4350... I would have to go back and look it up in one of my old shooting report books.. That may take awhile... Now having said that, I would not use that powder again. Too many other good powders.. My friend on here (Smoking-Brass) uses IMR 4007 very successfully with 168's... Send him a P.M. and he will be more than happy to help you out..
