Sometime this year I'm going to do what @RGRobinett said quite some time ago, 13 twist and bt bullets, we'll see what happens!I switched to a 12t BRA for a while and have shot a 13.5t PPC the last 4 years
I have merely repeated what Mike Walker, of BR & Remington fame, advised WAY back, in the 1980s - not my concept at all . . . later, mathematically supported by both William C. Davis Jr., and Robert McCoy.Sometime this year I'm going to do what @RGRobinett said quite some time ago, 13 twist and bt bullets, we'll see what happens!
Care to simplify this for a caveman? Trying to figure out what is being said here. Is it 12 or 13?I have merely repeated what Mike Walker, of BR & Remington fame, advised WAY back, in the 1980s - not my concept at all . . . later, mathematically supported by both William C. Then, much after Mr. Walkers admonishment, tested by yours truly to confirm the mathematical predictions: there is NO proof - only STRONG evidence. The only absolute: nothing is absolute. With very little risk, we can tilt probability strongly in our favor. "DARE TO BE DIFFERENT".

I’m seriously considering going back and trying a 12 6PPC again. When I switched from 12 to 13.5 I started ahooting better scores but that could have just been my progression and not the twist. Idk ,,I have merely repeated what Mike Walker, of BR & Remington fame, advised WAY back, in the 1980s - not my concept at all . . . later, mathematically supported by both William C. P.S. for most of the BR quality 6mm bullets (FB, & BT) based upon .825" long J4 jacket, the highest precision probability lies from 12-13" and anything in-between.
I think he is saying 12 or anything else between 12 or 13 will (should) work.Trying to figure out what is being said here. Is it 12 or 13?
I've had pretty good match success with 12 twists but slower can certainly work too. Not trying to change any minds here. I just know that based on my own experiences over the years...I will be staying with a 12 twist.I think he is saying 12 or anything else between 12 or 13 will (should) work.
