12 twist 6br load info

I have a 12tw 6br that I have only shot a couple times with very little load development. Currently using
Barts 80g
8208xbr
Cci450s

the only matches i shoot with it are 100 and 200yd and I want to save those reloading components for another rifle.

my though was so get a 60-68g bullet and use some of the other components I have laying around I don’t have use for. With are H335 and a couple hundred Remington mag primers. Any idea where to start on load date, I saw on the main Page they had h335 as a good powder for the 60g bullets.

I also will be trying to source bullets for this project

My friend, Gene Harwood, sat a World Record in 1987 with a 6 BR, his own 60g bullets, using Rem 7 1/2 primer, and H335, 24" Heavy Varmint rig with a velocity of 3700 fps.

Freebore choice is critical when shooting these short bullets. The 60g Sierra will amaze you in it's accuracy...you will have to see it to believe it.

Start off at 31.0g of H335 with the 60's, shoot two shot groups working up in .3g increments, be satisfied when the groups are in the low 1's or high zero's.

Also, you will be hard pressed to wear a barrel out in 6000 rounds with H335, unlike H322.

7 1/2's seal the deal on the 335 loads.

Great info. Thanks
