12 twist 6br powder and bullet choices

I have a 13.5 pound panda with a 12tw Brux barrel 24in long. I originally planned to use 80g barts and 8208xbr in it, but I think I I want to save that for a future project.

I wanted to switch to some type of 60-68g bt bullet as this rifle rarely will be shot past 200 yards. I have no experience with that bullet weight and powder. Any recommendations or advice where to start? I do have h335 on hand but don’t mind trying to find something else.21A59D01-9054-4870-BE7D-64CF33C220A1.jpeg

200 yards?? Huh, if your freebore is short then 55grn SBK’s or 58grn Vmax with AA2230 or Reloder 7 normally impresses. You’ll need a thick cupped primer to realize the full potential of the above components.

Going to shoot purely for groups, then any of the various custom match bullets work with many of the powders in the N135 to Varget range. However a fella ( or gal, I know the difference) can shoot just about as tight with the 55grn SBK’s with impressive velocities.

Shooting laser trajectory loads at 200yd’s can be a hoot, get a hot glue gun and some aspirin tablets. Duel use for pain reliever tablets, don’t get carried away and toast the bore......Either way it’ll be fun, but I gently remind you it won’t be a PPC, because nothing else is.....

It just for local varmint shoots not group. Occasionally a ubr match. I’m unsure of the freebore. Billy Stevens chambered the barrel for me

I've been loading Bart's 68 bts over 29-ish grains of LT-32 for several thousand rounds. Always get about 3350 fps out of it and can't really shoot it as good as it's capable of. I've used CCI BR4 and 450s and they seem to be fairly interchangeable, but I always do a minor load work up just to be sure. The 6BR is a GREAT cartridge, but kinda "boring."
