10mm

I have a Springfield XDm10 4.5 OSP and a Glock 29. Love them both but the Springfield more. Looking to add a Springfield XDm3.8 Elite to the stable.

I worked up a very potent load for the 4.5 OSP today. A 200 gr coated bullet at an average of 1237fps.

My favorite was a Kimber Custom Eclipse II in 10mm auto. Ended up selling because it was too pretty to carry and just sat in the safe. But man oh man did that thing shoot good!

The beauty of the Glock is that they are like the Remington 700 of pistols. There’s a few other good options but nobody is going to offer aftermarket support and products for other brands of pistols as much as they do the Glock. Plus you also have the legendary unmatched reliability of Glock and so they are a smart choice even if they are one of the ugliest guns out there! LOL!

I dressed my G20 up in a full suit of aftermarket clothing with custom slide and all. It looks better, but it still ain’t even close to as pretty as my Kimber. The Kimber was like a prized thoroughbred that had to be tended to all the time to keep it in top running condition and the G20 is like a very reliable work horse that takes very minimal maintenance.

XTP is one of my favorite bullets in any pistol caliber. I have 155gr xtp on hand but normally run the 180gr xtp for extra punch in the 10mm. I have only finished off animals that were first downed with a rifle using my 10mm, but from the terminal performance of the XTP bullets on animals that I have witnessed over the years, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to use them for handgun hunting. They are very accurate, hold together and mushroom very well, penetrate deep, and cause a lot of damage
Thanks.

Looks like any of those powders work, so I'll get something loaded up for next year.

I’ve never had any cycling or feeding issues running hot 10mm or mild 40 S&W loads with the factory setup. I did upgrade to the NDZ spring because I wanted the stainless guide rod but I don’t feel like the extra weight of the spring gave me any advantage over the factory spring
It’s not cycle issue or feeding issue it’s saving the wear and tear on your lower frame by full power loads. 22 pound spring is the most common and what I use.

Have the Glock 20 G4 with 357 Sig and 40 S&W barrels. Had $300 to spend so recently bought a Hi-Point 10mm carbine just for fun. Have put 4 different 10mm factory rounds through it (Win, Aguila, Sig, Blazer) plus my various reloads (RNFP, XTP) without a hitch. I know their pistols are "iffy", but thought I would try the carbine. Any thoughts from others who have this?
