105 VLD Target actual BC???

Anyone have to correct the BC of these? I have been shooting 108 ELDms and using the hornady 4DOF app but they don't list the VLD Target in their library so you have to manually enter the bc. I also noticed that using bergers program results in a different adjustment than the hornady app all things being inputed the same.
I plan on using the vlds in a prs match in a month or so and was hoping someone had been through this already. Thanks.

Couple inputs to bare in mind
1- Ballistic Coefficients are subjected to variance Lot to Lot of bullets.
2- Ballistic Coefficients will have variance from one barrel to another barrel. Lands engravement, twist rates, and barrel length all play into it and have direct effects to what the BC values will come out to.

It is to my experience, it takes field testing at 2 distances or more (more the better) to come up with a BC value for a bullet type for a given barrel, from the actual drop values at the multiple distances. Personally like to field test actual drops at like say 400, 600, & 1000-yds, then changing the BC value in what ever ballistic program I'm using until I get solutions/predictions that match up to the actual drops ( I get better accuracy and factual solutions/predictions when changing the BC values then I do verses changing the Mv instead).

3 - Ballistic Coefficients also vary with velocity. Sierra lists their BC's for various velocity brackets. On my Kestrel, I use the Berger BC's that they recorded.

This is exactly why I was asking. I know alot of guys end up adjusting the bc to match what they are actually seeing in the field.

I understand that. But what Ballistic app do you trust considering all variables are entered the same?
GeoBallistics is my primary ballistic app that I use.
geoballistics.com
It's "Map Mode" that utilizes Google Maps, sets it apart from any other ballistic app I've ever used.
Also have a WeatherFlow brand "WEATHERMeter" paired to it, that links live atmospherics & density altitude to the app (it will also link to Kestrel weather meters and/or local weather stations).

Strelok Pro is a secondary ballistic app that I use from time to time (and use to use exclusively).
www.strelokpro.online

On Windows PC's / LapTops, I use my own Pejsa based spreadsheet type ballistic program.
