Surprised to see no one shooting 6xc or larger 7mm what is the average velocity with 105 bullets with the braBRA for both light and heavy. Easy to get Dasher speeds, less pressure and easier on throat, primer pockets stay tight, haha.
I am a curious sort and when looking at match equipment lists my first observation is that what creates the dominate cartridge? I would offer that once someone wins a match or two with a specific cartridge, then others follow that lead. So there is a certain "Herd" mentality that takes over. If you won a national match with a turd attached to the end of your barrel, what do you think you would see at the next match?BRA for both light and heavy. Easy to get Dasher speeds, less pressure and easier on throat, primer pockets stay tight, haha.
I think a lot of us would like clarification on how the smaller case makes the same speeds with less pressure with the associated other benefits. Not trying to be difficult just want to understand.BRA for both light and heavy. Easy to get Dasher speeds, less pressure and easier on throat, primer pockets stay tight, haha.
Come out and show everyone how it’s done.Absolutely agree it’s all about marketing and selling more products
I shoot a 6xc 115 burgers 1x7.5 twist 3060fps I don’t see how a 105 @ 2900
Is going to outperform that at 1000 in the wind. bra is a great round but when did we start going backwards for more accuracy and distance
LOL he never put bench rest (benchrest) together, I'm old and don't catch on so fast eitherNevermind I can't read!
Absolutely nothing wrong with the 6.5 either...be my 2nd choice over the 6BRA since im tooled into 6mm.6.5x47 Lapua has won 1k Nationals for multiple years in a row, either IBS or Freedom, since about 2022 I think. Despite being outnumbered by the little guys.
Tom’s Dasher won IBS 1 k nats last year, Torges 6.5 won it this year.6.5x47 Lapua has won 1k Nationals for multiple years in a row, either IBS or Freedom, since about 2022 I think. Despite being outnumbered by the little guys.
The shooters that are going to have an advantage are the ones who are shooting small with a high BC combination. 6.5 that is shooting a 142 into knots, a 180 7mm that is making ragged little holes are going to be contenders. Not sure what the 30 cal magic is other than 185 Jugs, but those folks have put the development time into their rifle, load, and position to be in contention. There is no magic, competitors have been trying to buy a competitive edge for decades. U need to have the tools that have proven themselves to be contenders, but then it is up to u to develop those tools into a winning combination.Absolutely agree it’s all about marketing and selling more products
