    Lube helps w/ grinding, armor all or furniture polish with lemon oil works well . I have also used John Deere tire preservative to keep them soft but not sticky afterwards. Also, coarse belts work best with the soft ones. I just did one with 36 grit to rough it out, ended up finishing with it...

    CCI450 v. Remington 7 1/2

    To me I look at it as two different primers ,two different tunes . I have had equal success with both primers. I have never pitted them against each other, instead I adapt the load to adjust for the differences in ignition . Sometimes the 450s are more accurate and sometimes the 7 1/2s win out.

    I am not sure if this goes state by state or instructor by instructor , but my son took the instructor course a month or so ago . To be certified he was required to shoot 16 of 20 shots in a 6" ring at 15 yards . The instructor was very strict on this and stressed it during pre-registration...
