If I am loading 40 grains of H4350, about what “CC” size should I get?

My scoops are strictly for use with an A&D laboratory scale. No dipping involved.I learned a trick at the cast boolits site. Many over there will load handgun cartridges with a home made scoop made form a used cartridge case. For my hand gun loading I use a 9mm case that I drill a hole through the extractor groove and super glue in a brazing rod about 6 inches long for a handle, some glue a popsicle stick flat to the base. The empty case can be ground on a grinder or belt sander to give the volume you need. A larger case could be used, even large rifle cases to fit your need.
Either would work. I load 54.8gr N555. Do you use an A&D scale? I taped a ‘shim’ to the platen in order to get the scoop closer to the powder drop opening to avoid granule ‘bounce’.If I am loading 40 grains of H4350, about what “CC” size should I get?
