Lapping Factory ARA Barrels

It ain't broke--I don't think it needs fixing
At the ARA matches ( where it counts) there is Never any complaining about Factory class in any way--all of the shooters I shoot with Love it and attend on a regular basis. I have never heard any talk about hard or easy or changing anything Again so what the top two dual it out with 2500's? Let X count settle it like always
Of all the 22 matches we shoot ARA is the smoothest thing we do
And FWIW, Pauls new factory PSL offering going this week, one of the first things incorporated in that factory class is to introduce a harder target to reduce the well known fact that the current ARA factory target is in fact too easy. RFBR, even factory, is supposed to be harder than it currently is.
Any match…….any, where somebody lays down universal 2500’s, that should be obvious.

Not sure if you have much experience with it.......What are your thoughts on the equipment allowed in ARA Factory Class?

Thanks!

I really don’t, seems Dan stays on top of it. Seems with all the good targets, equipment works well.
As I’ve stated, zero vested interest, but since you move around forums, plenty of comments on the target by very experienced guys, thus Pauls new deal with an arguably better target format. Understood, starting out ARA leaned toward easier rather than tougher but now, well established seems like a tweak is in order.
Time will tell.

Tim,
I still think they should have used the UL target and just scored best edge.
