I have shot quite a few coyotes w my 788 and h322. I used the 52gr Speer hp. Dropped em very well. But it wld still shoot better w 4198 and that dam ole 50gr hornady sx sp! Wish I had a single shot w a new barrel to play w

I have a rebarreled sako vixen w a 20 cal lilja barrel, it’s now 20-222. It was a 222 w a rusted barrel. Nicest little action for that shell I ever saw. And a dream to carry. Exactly right.+1 on that

Those 50g TNT's at 3100fps really popped woodchucks. When I first got my .222 I loaded 50g Hornady SX bullets that worked well and very accurate with RL7. A co-worker turned me onto H322 and the Speer TNT's which shot a little better, and I could get them in bulk.
