I have a Bighorn Arms TL3 chambered in 6BR with a 22" 7-1/2" twist Proof Research carbon fiber barrel. I went with a .055" freebore so I can shoot some of the lighter bullets. The rifle with the scope weights 8lbs and couldn't be happier with this setup for varmint hunting. Currently shooting 70grn Nosler BT bullets at 3200fps with 32.0grn of IMR 8208XBR powder. I also shoot 80grn #1515 Varminter bullets at +/- 3000fps with 30.0grn of the same powder and, I have been testing the 80grn ELD-VT Hornady bullets with excellent results with the 30.0grn 8208XBR powder.going to use the rifle for coyotes want to shoot bullets 70 to 80 grains what twist of barrel would you guys suggest. maybe powder & load also this will be a winter project.
12 twist, N135. Tough to beat.

8 twist will give more options in case your choice of bullets will not shoot. 87 Vmax in an 8 twist drives tacs!

No, not even closeyou think a guy with a 10 twist and a 87grain v max can hit 3300 fps ?
accuracy is kingwell 3000 is is fast enough coyote won't know the difference.
is there a 70 75 grain bullets that have as gooor better BC than the 87 v max ?accuracy is king
Don't think so. Even comparing the 87gr v max to the new 80gr VT the 87 is NOT far behind and some are saying the VTs can be fussy due to their balance.is there a 70 75 grain bullets that have as gooor better BC than the 87 v max ?
Why are you worried about BC in a coyote rifle?is there a 70 75 grain bullets that have as gooor better BC than the 87 v max ?
