A VERY LONG time!It may take some time to gain trust in a company whom has left customers hanging without reliable information provided on the status of the company and their orders / funds through the transition…
They apparently had a booth at an outdoor show last week in TX. It wasn't advertised anywhere that I know of and going by the pictures I saw, it was a small show. It seems odd that, if they are truly serious about a fresh start, why would they have a booth at a trade show and not tell anyone. It seems that they should be shouting "we are back and better than ever...come see us at such and such show" from the rooftops and they didn't. I'm staying far away fro the foreseeable future.Anyone have positive update ? I have a friend that really got burned by them and didn’t get a his new 360 that he paid for ! It was supposed to ship righr before the crash. !
IMHO - It does not matter if they ever get back up and running after the way they have handled themselves. They cannot be trusted!I talked to them at the DSC show in Grapevine Texas yesterday. Can’t remember the gentleman’s name but he did say they were moving in and getting ready to resume production. He also tolls me that they offered jobs to all their former employees who wanted to make the move and 4 experienced personnel took the offer and moved with the company.
The building they moved into was a former rifle action builders facility in a town called Prague East of Oklahoma City.
They had a few rifles and pistols on display at the booth and I got to handle a new right bolt left port V22 chassis rifle repeater with a Bartlein barrel which they will begin selling fairly soon. The scarcity of chassis supply has led them to begin machining their own chassis in house. This particular rifle chassis looked similar to the MDT ACC Elite.
He assured me that they will meet their delivery dates for rifles ordered before the move. I told him that I know a guy that won’t get his in time, it’s already several weeks late. I gave him the contact information of a friend of mine which was due to have his rifle shipped the same week they stopped answering the phones in Utah.
I got his business card with no name or phone on it and I can only speculate why. They don’t want their phones blowing up while they are trying to get the plant up and running.
I believe the rumors are wrong and Vudoo will soon be back building fine rifles again.
The Prague facility was likely the original Surgeon Rifles location. The building they moved into was a former rifle action builders facility in a town called Prague East of Oklahoma City.

Not my words, not my belief…just relaying what I was told by the Vudoo representative at the show. If he didn’t want me to publicly say so, he shouldn’t have told me. BTW I’ve heard the same from Kenny at Desert Precision. MDT ACC backlog delayed delivery of my new rifle last year.As for chassis being scarce I wouldn't publicly state why I believe Vudoo is "making their own".
Yet to see mine from October, to be fair I cancelled last week but was told it was still going to be a while. He assured me that they will meet their delivery dates for rifles ordered before the move.
There are chassis to be had but the ACC is an MDT product and they can be very slow to deliver. Not my words, not my belief…just relaying what I was told by the Vudoo representative at the show. I just thought of this ... my father would not have cancelled. He used to send firms Birthday cards for year old unpaid invoices so in that spirit I could have waited and sent my build request a birthday card.Yet to see mine from October, to be fair I cancelled last week but was told it was still going to be a while.
