Good luck to everyone shooting the Tack Driver Lite match today! Shoot small and get ready for the match in November! Rumor has it Ed Niazi has a smoking 30BR and can’t wait to see the results. Thanks @Keefe300 for putting this event on!

Unfortunately I was not able to make it to the match, will give it a shot next year.
I will be coming to the Tack Driver in Orangeburg in Nov. I hope I can shoot as well as the rifle!

I sent out an email to the competitors of this year's match and I will also ask the question here for measured response.

I am in conversations with the Anderson Creek Club President on dates for next year's match. We have 2 possible dates the last Saturday in May 05-30-2026, or the last Saturday in June 06-27-2026. We are kicking around the last Saturday in May as an option to possibly beat the heat, but I am looking to see if there is a preference from the competitors.

I'm a colder weather guy. I don't mind some heat but it's the
humidity that's been going nut's. Last year was brutal, and this
year, although not as bad, by early morning, the humidity was
up there.......

I'll vote May......If it snows, I'll bring Mike one of my snow blowers
to clear a path for his flags.

Not this year.......LOL Weren't you bass fishing and kayaking in your back
yard like me all thru June ?? This year was bad. Maybe a good average of
favorable weather since it's the end of May.......
