What do you guys recommend for hunting bullets?
Nothing bigger than a 200 lb white tail
Suggested loads would be appreciated as well
Thank you

147 grain ELD-M is never the wrong answer. The "M" stands for "murder".

If you want more velocity, then the 130 grain Sierra TMK is the bullet.

I shoot 142 accubonds but for what you are shooting I would think most any reasonable hunting bullet would suffice. Find out what shoots best and roll with it. If taking off angle shots or breaking shoulders perhaps look at heavier or bonded style. Great cartridge btw. Very forgiving and easy to load accurately with low recoil.

Thanks guys you just confirmed what I was thinking.
Anytime I have used Noslers they are did right there

I Still Haven't found, an Accurate Load for, the VERY "Fussy" Berger, 130 gr., H-VLD's in my Tikka, 6.5 Creed,..
I've tried, 2 Different Powders and 6 Different, seat Depth's,.. YIKES !!!
Looks like, I'll be Using, the 135 gr. Classic Hunters or, 143 gr. ELD-X's ,. this Fall !
The 140 gr. Elite Hunters,.. shot, "Well" for, my grandson in His,.. 6.5 PRC.
I might try the 130 gr., OTM Hybrids, as I've Heard that, they, shot Good, also !

That Nosler Bullet was, my Dad's Favorite in his, .264 Win Mag for,.. Deer / Antelope !
Got the Job Done for Him, without making,. a Horrible Mess,.. upon Exit
Several,.. Deer / Antelope Fell to, THAT Bullet and I WAS There to, Help,. Skin / Gut them,..
I,.. Approve !

I've shot over 2800 deer (a lot of crop damage permits) with my 6.5/.284 XP-100 handgun. I've tested about everything mentioned here. What I found was very good performance with BTs, Accubonds, Nos. PTs, Sierra Game Kings, Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos. I had very poor luck on any sharply angles shots with LRABs, ELDXs & Ms, most Bergers due to poor penetration on those angled shots. They all work OK on perfectly broadside shots, but how many times do you get that.
