I have been fortunate to have owned some nice spotting scopes and rifle scopes and looked through many others. There are very few spotting scopes that will out resolve a NF comp scope for bullet holes.
I was hoping you were going to say the 8x80 x56 Majesta was absolutely phenomenal and was more than equal to the.taskI have 14 competition scopes. All March and NF. Just shot my majesta last week for second time at 300 and 1,000. Yes, great scope! Not really much better than older 80x or 55 NF. With mirage, my NF scopes all work as well as anything at 42x. My 42x NF seems to be as clear as anything I own at 300 yds. Both 80x scopes, I've dialed as low as 36. I have buddies here that have shot Tack Driver. Their comments are mirage is as bad or worse than as anything we have ever seen in WT. Don't think scope is the answer! What most BR guys use will be as good as the majesta at 300 meters. Don't want to start a fire storm, but thats my experience in WT. I'm told Orangeburg is another animal for sure.
And lead Team Texas to the glory they deserve!!!!I was hoping you were going to say the 8x80 x56 Majesta was absolutely phenomenal and was more than equal to the.task
After the Score Nationals, I will finally mount mine on a rifle and see, I am going to be putting all of my effort toward the TackDriver after that. I will probably mount it on the same Bat Neuvo Action 6PPC I shot last year.
That sounds great Jackie, I hope it works well for you! It will probably work out better in your hands, due to my eyesight. The scope is a work of art! I could never take my old one past about 60-65, I hope I can get the majesta out to 65x. Good luck to you! Like Zombie says: Go Texas!I was hoping you were going to say the 8x80 x56 Majesta was absolutely phenomenal and was more than equal to the.task

And a lot of hot air!!!There does seem to be an inordinate number of Texans attending. Not to worry though. They are bringing nothing to the table but fancy optics, proven rifles, a wealth of experience, and advanced shooting skills. No sweat. WH
You know how the old saying goes. “If we can’t amaze them with our brilliance, we will just baffle them with our bull sh-t.”And a lot of hot air!!!
Say it ain't so! I can't imagine a thing like that. And a lot of hot air!!!
Joe, if Hot Air and BS could put ‘em on the X, I’d be shooting a perfect score every timeSay it ain't so! I can't imagine a thing like that.
