Would anyone know what color would match a nitrated Defiance action.

I don’t own the action yet, just going by pics and didn’t know if it was more toward the grey’s. Heck even a bead blasted stainless barrel might look good.

Jon has a dead ringer match. I don’t know what it’s called though. I don’t like black haha.

FWIW: Trying to match colors is a fools errand. You might get close, but it might clash, where a contrasting color might look really great.

Thanks, that’s where the barrel will be headed!
This s barrel was going to be a switch barrel for another built rifle on a Tenacity action, then a stupid deal happened on a scope and everyone knows how that can snowball things.
Yes that all black 6BR is a little too much much for me too on both the action and barrel.

I think that’s the smart bet on getting some contrast.

+1 - especially on trying to match.
As mentioned, I think a bead blasted stainless barrel with a black nitride cromoly action would look great.
