That's my choice, several times over, & with Peterson factory brass it's a no brainer.

I'm staying with, "the Cool Kids" and Voting, 6 XC, as, Better Barrel "Life" than, the 6 Creed ( 100 fps Slower ) and Has, a Longer Neck for, Better Bullet Placement to, "Follow the Lands" and to stay Out of, the "Doughnut area" !
Peterson & Norma, Brass, Forster Dies are Available and the 6 XC Has WON, 4 Major,1,000 yard "Championships" !
the 6 XC Fits and Feed's, perfectly in, "Short Actions", 3,000 fps+ is doable w/ 105's 107's and 108 gr bullets so,.. NOTHING "Lacking",.. IMO
It was, the "Easy Button" for, Me ! ( Tubb Design, Version, ONE, 6 XC & Forster Dies, ARE set for This Chamber ! )
Wish I had, a 9 or 10 Twist barrelled Rifle to, "go with" my 24", 1-7.5 Twist that, shoots "BugHoles" with, the heavies.

Tipped "Frangible" Bullets and most Berger, Varmint / Hunting, HP's,.. "Get it Done" without, Exits,.. "usually" !
Get those Bullets,. "Moving" at 3,100 fps Plus for,.. NO issues !
THIN Jacketed Bullets,.. ARE,.. your Friend.

Just running your 6mm load…

There’s 22.5” of drop at 475 with a 200 yard zero and 16.25” of drop with a 300 yard zero.

Just how big are the coyotes in North Dakota, if you’re holding on hair to 475?

I should have said the 22-6MM AI and 4300 fps I hold on fur out to 475. And no 200 yd zero. Why anyone would want that is be on me.

I zero at 350 yds.

100 I'm plus 2.6
200 I'm plus 4.1
300 I'm plus 3.6
400 I'm minus 2.5
500 I'm minus 13.0

And at 475 I hold on fur over the front shoulders. I never shot anything behind the shoulder with a rifle. Shoot them in the shoulders you never have to track very much. It breaks them down.

Realistically, you need to consider if its a single shot or mag fed. Any of the 6mm cartridges that use about 32-35gr of powder with 105 class bullets will give you more than enough performance with 70-95gr bullets. 6br isn't easy to mag feed. 6gt has good brass and feeds just as well as 6x47L and 6xc. Dasher dies can be expensive and don't seem to come up used very often (testament to its success?), and you may want to see what the reloading gear for a new cartridge will work for your budget. Wildcats are fun, but losing brass in the field that you've formed, trimmed, turned, put work into, isn't as fun. Good off the shelf brass that isn't $2/ea is important to me in a predator rifle.

Even the 6x45 (6mm-223) would be a good chamber for what you're after and just sip powder from the jug.

I’ve shot 5 with that .243 combo, the closest was about 75 yards quartered toward me it was liquid organs with slight tear on exit. The other 4 were between 150 and 325 yards, caused liquid gel and no exit wound only one was broad side.
The hides on Wood chucks at 300 and 350 yards didn’t look to good

I’ve shot them with 6 br and 105’s also,, the target bullets pencil right through leaving a small hole and not as much internal damage,,, when you want them to expand you chamfer the hollow point hole with a screw for deer hunting!

Not sure what target bullets you are referring to, but I've yet to see a Berger 105 or 95 VLD pencil through. In fact I point them too and have had zero failures to open. Same results with the 22 caliber 75 and 80 VLD's as well.

6gt is what I’m having built. Not I need to choose bullet/twist

No reason not to go 8 twist and be able to shoot any bullet up to a 105 if you like. My favorite combination was a 6 Dasher shooting an 87 gr V-max at about 2900 fps. Crazy speed is "not your friend" if you want a nice pelt. With my rifle I made many shots at just over 500 yrds. A very long shot for me on a coyote. But, the cartridge/bullet combination was easily up to the task. When the 87 V-max did exit it just left a little 1 inch round hole. Easily stitched up for a perfect pelt. This bullet will expand at any range you can place the shot. Just an fyi. Any hits around the edges will be ugly with any bullet. Period. Shot placement is paramount. I cannot stress this enough. Stay around 3000 fps or less with the 87 V-max and any hides that are not pristine are shooter induced problems. I had a few coyote hides that went for $98 each at auction a few years ago shot with this combination. It flat works for a perfect pelt if you do your part. That's all I have. Shoot straight!
