Made up my mind , Yoder it is !!!
One of those appears to be eggplant and if so that is one good looking plate. This pic shows an example of my 'standard' dinner. One year ago I tried an experiment by grilling everything one night and since then it has become like a drug. I never get sick of it and it satisfies my gluttenous appetite by filling up with tasty vegetables. I think I have eaten 325 baked onions in the last year! I dont think there is now a vegetable I haven't tried to grill. They are much more interesting to eat with a little char than steamed, so I eat more. They all get semi-nuked first then finished on grill with lots of olive oil and salt. I guess it is healthy. Better than pasta!View attachment 1654335
yup! salt dry brine 'em first for 20 min to get rid of some moisture. Then they soak up olive oil like a sponge. Tasty! One of those appears to be eggplant and if so that is one good looking plate.
that the same as mine!!! have to try slow cooking ribeyes!Son and family are at the lake camping this week during the grandkids' spring break. We joined them yesterday afternoon/evening and he cooked up ribeyes, linguisa, and jalepeno poppers on his little table top Santa Maria.

Thats right. He had bacanora. I had never heard of it. Now gonna have to try some! The Don Julio grade!!We used to get Sonoran bacanora from across the border down here. Varied from smooth like Don Julio 42 to old school Cuervo.
When it's good it's VERY GOOD
