I started using the 7 1/2's about a year ago and found they've produced excellent results out of my .308. I'd say, base on my limited experience, they're as good as any other out there and think you should not hesitate to try them.At almost half te price of CCI bench rest are they a viable alternative? Ive tested the BR4s as being higher velocity than the 450s as well.Tested the 7 1/2, 450, and BR4 with the same load on the same day, 10 shot groups each; 200.20X and Varget.
7 1/2: 2620 avg. 7.2 SD
450: 2612 avg. 9.7 SD
BR4: 2625 avg. 8.2 SD
YMMV.
