What caliber and groove are you shooting?I have used one since 2019, it has been part of, or all of my aggrergate records and 2021 LG score in 1000 yard IBS Nationals. I am over 1500 rounds now and it still shoots.

Thank you Sir.29” blank cut to 28”, 4 grove, 8 inch twist, 6 mm BRA, smith Shawn Williams @Northridge, the reamer was Alex Wheeler’s design. Shawn and Carson Lilja worked on the barrel and I got another waiting to go.
Thank you Sir.I think I ordered my first 14tw 6mm 3gr around 2002. Started shooting short range group in 2000. Took that barrel and some of barts originals and won my first 2gun at Camillus in 2003. Figured this group game was easy. Well I ran out of bullets and wore out that barrel and didn’t win another two gun until 2014. Have had several Lilja barrels mostly in 224 and 243. I always order 14tw 3gr. Good service and timely. Mine have been solid performers.
Okay I will bite. Teach me something new. Why does a 3 grove increase velocity, less parasitic drag of the extra corners? Secondly by how much?Yes Liljas are in good showing out west. Would be my first choice button. And if you want speed in a hunting gun you cant beat thier 3 grooves.
Its not because its 3. Its just those barrels. You can do the same with a 4 5 or 6Okay I will bite. Teach me something new. Why does a 3 grove increase velocity, less parasitic drag of the extra corners? Secondly by how much?
Thanks for your input, if I were buying in a 6mm would a 3 groove or 4 groove be better? Same question but in a 6.5 caliber?Yes Liljas are in good showing out west. Would be my first choice button. And if you want speed in a hunting gun you cant beat thier 3 grooves.
Is your 22, 6mm in a 3 groove or 4?I've had great luck in the past with the 3 groove 15 and 17 twist .30's and also used several .17 cal's with very good results. Currently, I have a 22BR and two 6BR Lilja's...all great shooters.
The 22BR is a 6, one 6BR is a 6 and one 6BR is a 3.Is your 22, 6mm in a 3 groove or 4?
Thank you Sir!The 22BR is a 6, one 6BR is a 6 and one 6BR is a 3.
Id ask Carson. Im only familiar with the 3 in 7mm and 30.Thanks for your input, if I were buying in a 6mm would a 3 groove or 4 groove be better? Same question but in a 6.5 caliber?
