Tack Driver 6

My effort for #6 will be Glass. My Wife told me she would get me any scope I wanted for my upcoming birthday.

Of course, you know the old saying about how to make it rain on Monday. Get your car washed on Sunday.
So when I get that $5000 scope, you can just about be guaranteed that we have a nice overcast both days at TackDriver 6.

I'm really in a bit of a quandary regarding scope choice. I think I am going to just work with my 36's for now and see. I will have plenty of opportunity to shoot on the home range over the summer. It's rocky and on even more of a slope over 300m than the TD range. I'm pretty well set on going with a 30 (bigger holes are easier to see) but am still working on deciding which cartridge/bullet combo. I'm kind of thinking of going a bit retro, using a 1981 BR rifle, and making the trip in my 1981 Dodge pickup. I've put together a half dozen different outfits (virtually, that is), and each and every one has worked like a hot damn (they always do when I'm daydreaming in my recliner). Y'all better look out! WH

Finished fire forming the new ,284 cat brass today. The mule barrel
cools pretty fast when it's 26 degrees out. Did dig out the Rye when
I got home to take care of that nagging chill......

I'll bring a rusty pipe duct taped to a two x four......LOL And staying in a
certain conversation. I have the one .284 wildcat done, "BUT" ?? After more
careful consideration, and a little more of that hop flavored beverage, I
came up with another. This one I'm calling the 7.2mm Greedmore.......

All good around the range. The fires are North and South of where I live and pose no danger to my house at this point. Thanks for asking and I look forward to seeing everyone in November!

An anniversary is just a date on the calendar; a good rifle match forms a lasting memory. As I re-read this, it occurs to me that it might not be a good argument to try to make. WH
