Get someone to tune the ejector spring in one of the rifles you have. I tune the springs in my predator rifles to clear the brass and not sling them all over the place. I shot a triple about 2 months ago and when the dust settled all three of the cases were laying by my right knee in about a 4 inch circle. It's not a difficult task to tune one.Coyote hunting. I hate to lose brass so I always reach over the scope after a shot with my left hand to grab the brass and half the time it causes the brass to stay in the action, causing more of a mess and delay.
What cartridge are you going to use?I’m looking to have a hunting rifle built with a dual port, right bolt, left eject repeater. Does anyone make one of those? I like and prefer Borden, does he make something like that? Other recommendations?
I have done that, what I mean is I clipped coils off until I had it where I want it. I would just rather them go straight into my hand instead of on the ground. I have a picture of a stand I got four on at night and the brass was in a 3-4’ spread, from swinging the rifle around on the tripod to get on the next one etc. So they got stepped on and whatnot.Get someone to tune the ejector spring in one of the rifles you have. They make one for a bolt gun? Link? How about installing a brass catcher?
Google search for brass catchers and you will find they typically attach to a picatinny rail regardless of firearm action type. Properly adjusted, you will achieve cycling of the bolt/pump/semi-auto action without any interference. They make one for a bolt gun? Link?
I’m sure you can make one work on a bolt gun. It surely will be cheaper than a new gun. They make one for a bolt gun? Link?
