NRA Worth It…no service???

There no service at the NRA. Chat is available. Couldn’t find a phone number. I’ve been trying to log into the competitor portal and it’s harder than opening an account at a bank. I go to chat, wait, they send me to an e-mail…. Is there no one to call? I wasn’t happy to join recently due to NRA mis-management. It seems like with the huge amounts of money the NRA collects they’d fight to provide great service.

Just a rant I guess. Maybe someone has an inside track on a human being to speak to there…

The NRA has done a lot of good over the years. Most of it was a long time ago. Recently (the last 15 years) it seems like it is just a money making machine offering hollow promises. I see the NRA getting to the point of nearly collapsing before someone worthwhile gets control and revives it to what it used to be.
I'm a Benefactor member but until I see that happen, I won't contribute in any way.

I gave up supporting the NRA years ago. I maintain my support for the Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) though. I see them in action constantly. Happy to contribute to their battles on our behalf.

I’d like to see them get back to relevance and making people proud to be a member. My shooting range requires NRA membership, so I don't have the option to quit.

I've got hopes that they'll get better soon. Been a member for fifty years, and would like to think that it may have counted for something.

I guess I'm prolly a member of GOA also. I gave them a bunch of money a year or so ago when they were fighting the Oregon gun stupidity that is STILL a possible problem.

It's my opinion that we ALL need to put our money where our interests lie, including supporting this forum... I'd bet that most of the "gun enthusiasts" here on this forum who haven't shucked out enough money to enhance their membership, probably haven't contributed any money to support their 2A rights either. AND -- I'm also skeptical about folks like that taking the time to vote as well.

Now, if I've pissed anybody off this evening, I'm gonna assume that you're one of the folks I'm talking about.

Our club removed the requirement to be an NRA member as part of being a club member. No real benefits for the club, our JR program or its members...plus we were loosing potential members in light of the recent events at the top of the NRA.

Law suits are expensive. I will give up phone service for court cases.
