7 mm mag

The Edge has the correct bolt face that would work. The problems you are going to run into is Rugers notoriously short mag length. You will need to single feed and since the Ruger is a Mauser type action with claw extractor, they don't like that. The .338 Win Mag would probably be a better choice for that action if your stuck on that bore dia.

I’d want at least a 3.9 capable magazine for 338 edge.
4” is even better
My 338 edge load is 4.2” and I single feed.
338 WM or Rum would be better if you want magazine feeding
Lapua is a .585 boltface.
